We zijn blij jullie te mogen informeren dat het Japan Festival 2025 plaatsvindt op zondag 29 juni 2025: 12.00 - 18.00 uur op het Stadsplein, Amstelveen.

In deze editie vieren we de 425 jarige betrekking tussen Japan en Nederland, en de keyvisual is gemaakt van het bekroonde werk uit onze tekenwedstrijd, die gehouden werd met kizuna (‘band’) als thema. Volg onze social media voor updates!

On Sunday, 29 June 2025, the Japan Festival returns to Stadsplein in Amstelveen. This time we celebrate 425 years of relations between Japan and the Netherlands with kizuna (‘bond’) as the theme of the festival. Once again, this is a unique opportunity to indulge in Japanese culinary specialties and participate in workshops tailored for all ages. Performances of modern and traditional art forms will be featured on the open-air stage throughout the festival.

Over the years, the Japan Festival has become an annual tradition. Renowned as one of the Netherlands' most significant and best-attended Japanese festivities, the festival has emerged as the go-to destination for experiencing Japanese culture. Drawing not only from the Japanese community living in the Netherlands but also from the many Dutch people interested in Japanese culture, the festival has attracted widespread popularity.

An Authentic Japanese Experience.
Japan Festival exhibitors and participants are carefully selected by the board to ensure that visitors can immerse themselves in an authentic Japanese ambience, all without having to board a plane. Stage performances will include music with classical Japanese instruments and traditional dance, as well as demonstrations of martial arts such as kendo and aikido.

You can stroll around the shops selling designer products and Japanese ingredients and take part in various workshops to learn craft techniques and even some Japanese language. Of course, there will be stalls with typical 'street food' dishes, including favourites like takoyaki, ramen and matcha crepes. With an expanding selection of vegetarian options, there's something for everyone!

With workshops, performances, games and much more, catering to all ages, the Japan Festival is a truly inclusive event that brings together people of different nationalities and generations. オランダと日本の425年にわたる関係を祝うジャパン・フェスティバル

2025年6月29日（日）、アムステルフェーンのStadspleinにジャパン・フェスティバルが帰ってくる。今回は「絆」をテーマに、日本とオランダの交流425周年を祝います。今回も日本料理を堪能し、あらゆる年齢層に合わせたワークショップに参加できるまたとない機会です。野外ステージでは、期間中、現代アートや伝統アートのパフォーマンスが繰り広げられる。

ジャパン・フェスティバルは毎年恒例となっている。オランダで最も意義深く、最も参加者の多い日本祭りの一つとして知られるこのフェスティバルは、日本文化を体験するのに最適な場所となっている。オランダに住む日本人コミュニティだけでなく、日本文化に興味を持つ多くのオランダ人からも、このフェスティバルは広く人気を集めている。

本物の日本体験 ジャパン・フェスティバルの出展者と参加者は、来場者が飛行機に乗ることなく、本物の日本の雰囲気に浸れるよう、理事会によって厳選されている。ステージでは、和楽器による音楽や伝統舞踊のほか、剣道や合気道などの武道も披露される。

デザイナーズ製品や日本の食材を販売するショップを散策したり、様々なワークショップに参加して工芸技術や日本語を学ぶこともできる。もちろん、たこ焼き、ラーメン、抹茶クレープなど、典型的な「屋台料理」の屋台も出店する。ベジタリアン向けのメニューも充実しており、誰もが楽しめる内容となっている！
